This...Great write-up on Battleground - Miss Paddy. <BR/><BR/>This one of my favorite WW II movies. I like the fact that everyone is "real". Some are heroes, some aren't. I always liked the scene where the shooting starts at the railroad bridge. Van Johnson takes off and then sees Layton behind him. In a split second, fear vanishes from his face and he tells Layton to follow him to flank the Germans.
